Wild Olive Shoot Foundation Guidelines / Policies
PRESERVATION OF RELIGIOUS VOICE AND RIGHTS
Satilla Retreat is a facility owned and operated by the Wild Olive Shoot Foundation (WOSF).
WOSF strives to align all its actions with Biblical principles, believing that God has designed men and women to function purposefully and harmoniously with His plan for the world. Establishing regulations as a Christian community is crucial to fulfilling its mission and upholding fundamental moral and social values. At WOSF, we recognize that no single individual or organization can fully comprehend all Biblical Truth. We hold a specific Biblical belief system that our guests should be informed about. As more than just accommodation, WOSF requires adherence to guidelines at all its properties to foster an environment where lives can be transformed through Gospel-centered standards.
In addition to the standards aimed at safeguarding the peace and enjoyment of all guests, WOSF enforces religious standards aligned with the religious faith, purpose, and mission of the organization. These standards are in place to ensure that activities or expressions by groups using WOSF facilities do not conflict with the beliefs and message of WOSF. Guests are expected to refrain from engaging in activities or expressing views that oppose these religious standards while utilizing WOSF facilities. We kindly request that groups with differing views respect and adhere to the stated positions during their time at WOSF properties.
Additionally, in keeping with our mission and beliefs (click here to read our statement of faith), the following help to maintain a wholesome Christ-centered environment and assure the comfort of our guests:
